01What the app collects

Storage Game has no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, postal address, or payment details.

Only when you submit a score to the global leaderboard is the following sent to our server: the callsign the game generated for you, your score and highest tier reached, a randomly generated install identifier, and a timestamp. That is the whole of it.

The install identifier disappears when you delete the app, and a new one is generated on reinstall. It cannot be used to identify you.

The callsign is made by the game: one of twelve fixed words plus three random digits. There is nowhere in the app to type a name, so nothing you write ever reaches our server.

02Real-time matches

During a match, temporary session data passes through our server so the two players stay in sync: callsign, room code, game state, and network latency.

That session data is discarded as soon as the match ends. There is no chat feature, so we never handle messages or voice.

03What the app does not collect

We request no advertising identifier (IDFA), no location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or file access.

The bundle contains no advertising SDK and no third-party analytics SDK. There is no tracking of any kind inside the app.

04What the website collects

storage-game.com uses Google Analytics 4 to see visit statistics.

On your first visit we ask for cookie consent. The GA4 script is not loaded at all — and no analytics cookie is set — until you press Allow. If you press Decline, only a single value recording that choice is stored in your browser, and every part of the site keeps working.

With consent, GA4 collects anonymous statistics: page views, country- and city-level region, device type, and referral source. IP addresses are anonymized by Google during processing.

You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's stored data (cookies and local storage) in your browser.

05Why we use it

To display leaderboard rankings, connect real-time matches, detect fraudulent scores, keep the server stable, and understand website traffic. We use it for nothing else.

We never sell any of this data and never share it for advertising.

06Retention

Leaderboard entries are kept until you ask us to delete them or they drop off the ranking.

Server access logs are deleted after 90 days. Match session data is deleted when the match ends.

GA4 data is configured to auto-delete after 14 months.

07Processors and international transfer

Our servers run on Amazon Web Services (Seoul region, Republic of Korea). The website's static files are served from Amazon S3 and CloudFront.

Website statistics use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, United States).

App distribution and payment are handled by Apple Inc. (United States); voluntary sponsorship is handled by GitHub Sponsors (GitHub, Inc., United States), each under their own policies. Sponsorship payment details go to GitHub; Object never receives them.

08Children

Storage Game is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.

If we learn that a child has submitted an entry, we delete it. A parent or guardian may request deletion at the address below.

09Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your leaderboard entry. Email contact@object.so with the callsign and score and we will act on it after verification.

Requests are handled within 10 days of receipt.

10Security

All communication with our servers is encrypted with TLS. Access to the leaderboard database is limited to a single operator.

11Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version and its effective date are posted on this page. Material changes are also announced inside the app.
